We wanted to know the top smart home devices in the market, what’s trending, what’s popular, and the smartest devices out there! So naturally, we’ve tracked down the 3 industry experts in the field to gain an insight into the trendy smart home devices you need in your home.
Chris O’Brien, Leolec Services
“One of the best smart home devices on the market at the moment and one of my favourites would have to be the Bosch Automatic Coffee Machine. The Bosch Automatic Coffee Machine would have to be one of the most convenient smart devices on the market with adjustable mixing ratios of milk and espresso as well as being able to set favourite styles of coffee to specific names.
The machine has built-in sensors that let you know when the beans or water level get too low as well as being able to simultaneously brew two coffees at the same time. After the automatic coffee machine I’d have to say that any smart home cameras that can pair with other smart devices within your home would also be a great device
to invest in.”

“Almost all smart home products require a stable Wi-Fi connection. Remember that there are several ways to improve the speed of your Wi-Fi, and choose a suitable location for your router. If your existing router is an obsolete or simple device provided by your internet service provider, consider upgrading to a new model.
For initial setup and configuration, as well as control, the majority of smart devices will require the usage of third-party software. Before mounting or disposing of anything, you may need to scan a QR code or enter a serial number. These codes are commonly found on the back or underside of gadgets, as well as in the instruction manual.
One of my favourite smart home devices is the smart outdoor security camera. It provides a safe way for me to monitor what’s going on outside my house from the comfort of my couch. In my home, I have a high-resolution, weather-resistant smart security camera that not only records motion-triggered footage but also flashes a bright light on anyone moving around on my property. It is easy to set up, features accurate and intelligent motion detection, and provides detailed 2K video with colour night vision.”
